Northern New York Genealogy is dedicated to genealogy research, family history, and historical structures of Jefferson County, Lewis County, and St. Lawrence County, which comprise Northern New York. Portions of surrounding counties, such as Oswego County (Central New York) are included as information becomes available.
 Our goal is to preserve the rich history of the north country of New York and to aid you in your family search. We hope to accomplish this by providing as much historical data as we can develop on Federal Census from 1810 - 1900, recording cemetery data and burial information, family histories, and background studies on historical structures.
