Family Members Search
(Baptisms and Deaths)
This search allows you to do a "reverse" search on relatives / family members associated with individuals contained in the Baptism and Deaths collections. While these individuals may not have resided in the Jefferson County, Lewis County, St Lawrence portion of Northern New York, they clearly had sufficient ties to individuals in the area to warrant their being recorded in a local source.
Since each individual's relatives are treated as unique to that individual, the same "relative" may be displayed multiple times. If the Deaths Collection contains fives brothers and we have recorded the parents for each, then their mother and father will each appear five times. For example: the search results will display "Brown, John father of James Brown who died 1850" and so on for each of John Brown's sons. Ideally this will enable you to find all associated family members that we've collected during the recording of deaths and baptisms.
As with all of the collections, search results are sorted by surname, given name, middle name.
